The rewards are incomparable. Sunrise over Kala Patthar paints Everest gold a moment that photographs cannot capture and words barely honour. Day 01: Arriving in Kathmandu and Transfer to the Hotel

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and trek briefing where your guide walks you through the adventure ahead.

Take the thrilling 35 minute flight to Lukla’s Tenzing Hillary Airport, the gateway to Everest. Begin trekking through pine forests alongside the rushing Dudh Koshi River, descending gently through Sherpa villages to the cosy settlement of Phakding. Approximately 3 to 4 hours of walking.

Cross dramatic suspension bridges adorned with colourful prayer flags and enter Sagarmatha National Park. A steep final climb rewards you with your first arrival into Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa capital of the Khumbu. On a clear day, your first glimpse of Everest appears on this trail. Approximately 5 to 6 hours of walking.

A vital rest day to help your body adjust to the altitude. Hike up to the Everest View Hotel for sweeping panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, and the iconic Ama Dablam. Explore the Sherpa Culture Museum and the lively Saturday market. Short hikes keep your blood circulating and your acclimatisation on track.

Trek through fragrant rhododendron and juniper forests with spectacular mountain scenery at every turn. Arrive at Tengboche, home to the most famous monastery in the Khumbu region. If timing allows, witness the peaceful evening prayer ceremonies performed by resident monks. Approximately 5 to 6 hours of walking.

Descend into the lush Imja Khola valley, passing through Pangboche village and its ancient hilltop monastery. The landscape gradually transforms into dramatic, wide open alpine terrain as you climb to Dingboche, a beautiful valley framed by towering Himalayan giants. Approximately 5 to 6 hours of walking.

A critical second rest day before the high altitude push ahead. Hike up to Nagarjun Hill at 5,100 metres for breathtaking views of Island Peak, Makalu, and Lhotse Wall. Return to Dingboche for hot soup, warm tea, and well deserved rest at a cosy teahouse.

Trek past the emotionally powerful Thukla memorial, a collection of stone monuments honouring climbers who lost their lives on Everest. The trail grows increasingly rugged and exposed as altitude takes hold. Lobuche is a small, windswept settlement offering basic but warm teahouse accommodation. Approximately 5 hours of walking.

The most awaited day of the entire trek. Push through rocky glacial moraine to reach Gorak Shep, drop your bags, then press on to Everest Base Camp itself. Stand at the legendary foot of the world’s highest mountain and let the magnitude of the moment wash over you. Approximately 7 to 8 hours of walking.

Rise before dawn and make the steep climb to Kala Patthar, the finest viewpoint on the entire Everest Base Camp Trek. Watch the sunrise paint Everest and surrounding peaks in brilliant gold. Descend all the way to Pheriche for a long but deeply satisfying day. Approximately 7 to 8 hours of walking.

A long, rewarding descent through terrain now familiar and beloved. With every step downward the air thickens, breathing eases, and energy returns. Namche Bazaar welcomes you back with warm meals, cold drinks, and the joy of celebration with fellow trekkers. Approximately 6 to 7 hours of walking.

The final full day on the trail retraces your earliest footsteps. Cross those same swaying suspension bridges one last time and reflect on how far you have come. Arrive in Lukla for a memorable farewell dinner with your guide and trekking companions. Approximately 6 to 7 hours of walking.

Board your morning mountain flight back to Kathmandu. Watch the Himalayas recede behind you as the valleys and city return. Back in Kathmandu, enjoy a free afternoon to shop for souvenirs in Thamel, rest, or explore the city’s rich cultural heritage at your own pace.

Your extraordinary Everest Base Camp Trek journey comes to a close. Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight home. You leave Nepal changed — carrying with you the mountains, the people, and an achievement that will inspire you for a lifetime.
